Our floating dock systems are durable and require minimal maintenance. However, regular maintenance is important to extend their lifespan and ensure safe operation.
Over time, docks become dirty due to weather conditions and organic debris. A dirty dock retains moisture longer, which can negatively affect the material. Regular cleaning prevents this and helps prolong the dock’s life.
The technical condition of the dock connections also deserves attention. Wave action and water movement can cause connections to loosen over time. This wear reduces stability and significantly shortens the lifespan. We therefore recommend inspecting and tightening connections at least every two years.
Would you like us to handle the maintenance for you? That’s possible. Besides checking the connections, we also inspect floats, decking, wear plates on pile brackets, and the rollers and hinges of access bridges. If necessary, we perform minor repairs to maintain the quality and safety of your docks.
